Russell Ramzel is a health care attorney whose practice focuses primarily on regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry and transactional and corporate matters across multiple industries. He represents a range of clients in the health care industry and other regulated industries, including hospital systems, psychiatric hospitals, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, residential child care facilities, and suppliers of health care technologies and services, and other professional entities. Russell works with clients to navigate agency licensure requirements, including residential child care licensing. He regularly advises clients concerning Certificate of Need, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, HIPAA, CHOWs, mergers and acquisitions, formation of corporate entities, corporate compliance and governance, corporate law, electronic health records (EHR) and meaningful use, and fraud and abuse issues such as antikickback and Stark.
