Summer Associate Program

Conner & Winters is seeking 1L applications for our 2020 Summer Associate Program in Oklahoma and Arkansas. We are no longer accepting 2L applications for our 2020 Summer Associate Program.

Our 2020 Summer Associate Program will run May 18 to June 26, 2020. The Program offers challenging legal assignments, real-world training, and mentoring. During our program, students are given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of a number of attorneys, both associates and partners. This includes but is not limited to the opportunity to conduct research and then write substantive legal documents, attend depositions and hearings, attend closings, and interact with clients. Our attorneys provide feedback and our summer associates are encouraged to proactively seek out feedback from the attorneys they work with. Each summer associate is paired with an associate and partner who help in the transition into the office and provide guidance with work challenges. We have several social events planned during the program, as well as lunches with the firm’s attorneys. We believe that getting to know our summer associates and letting our summer associates get to know us is one of the most important aspects of the program.

Conner & Winters will conduct on-campus interviews of 1L students at selected regional law schools in February of 2020. We will also work with regional schools where we will not be on-campus to solicit resumes. 1L students attending a school that we do not visit are invited to submit a cover letter, resume, and current transcript to our Recruiting Chair at the below email address. Please include in your cover letter the source of your interest in our firm and the specific firm location (Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or Fayetteville) where you prefer to work. Please wait to make your submission until first semester grades are available. An unofficial copy of the transcript is acceptable.
