Conner & Winters Elevates Langley, Mizell and White to Partner

Tulsa, Oklahoma (January 23, 2024) - Conner & Winters is pleased to announce that Dillon Langley, Emily Mizell and Robert White have been elected as partners of the firm.

Langley (Tulsa) and Mizell (Northwest Arkansas) were elevated from their previous role of Associate, and White (Dallas) was formerly Of Counsel.

Highlighting just how talented the slate of new partners are, all three of them graduated with honors from their respective law schools.

The elevation to partner for Langley, Mizell and White further strengthens the corporate, commercial litigation, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare, banking, and aviation practice groups at Conner & Winters. 

Dillon Langley is a transactional attorney in the Tulsa office who practices in the areas of banking & finance, mergers & acquisitions, general corporate law, and private placements. He has a wealth of experience in drafting customized agreements and marshaling high-value transactions, where he leverages his background in complex civil litigation to issue-spot potential risks and obstacles.

Dillon is recognized in the 2024 edition of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® list for his work in banking & finance law, corporate law, and corporate governance & compliance. He has also been selected for the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list for banking, corporate, and mergers & acquisition law in Tulsa. Dillon earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and completed his undergraduate studies graduating summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University. 

Emily Mizell handles corporate healthcare risk management and government compliance, labor & employment, complex regulatory matters, and commercial litigation in the Northwest Arkansas office. She has significant experience providing clients with advice on day-to-day operations, Medicare and Medicaid, and government compliance issues, as well as litigating in both state and federal courts, with a particular focus on healthcare related matters.

Amy Wilbourn, a leader in the Northwest Arkansas office who provides counsel for healthcare and long-term care providers, praises Emily as "a standout client advocate whose trajectory in the legal field and as a community leader knows no boundary." Emily is very involved with the American Health Lawyers Association, the Arkansas Health Care Association, the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers, and the Arkansas Bar Association. Since 2022, she has been included on the list of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® for Commercial Litigation and Healthcare Law for Fayetteville. She recently graduated the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Fayetteville program, and in 2024, Emily serves as President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Fayetteville. She earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. 

Robert White joined Conner & Winters in the summer of 2023 and since then has seen a meteoric rise in the firm's Dallas office. Well-known for his skill in mergers & acquisitions, Robert also practices in the areas of securities law compliance, commercial transactions, healthcare regulatory compliance and other corporate governance matters.

Mr. White graduated with cum laude honors from the University of Michigan Law School, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. Before pursuing his legal studies, Robert had a distinguished career as a police officer and law enforcement consultant.

The new partners will be honored and recognized at a dinner at Southern Hills Country Club at the end of February.
