With over 28 years of experience, Todd is an accomplished commercial litigator whose effectiveness is matched only by his dedication to his clients. He has extensive experience in handling complex litigation in a variety of areas, including banking, real estate, insurance, health care, manufacturing, food processing, and construction. He has built his practice around handling complex business and commercial litigation matters, which often include a mixture of contract disputes, real estate matters, business torts, noncompetition agreements, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, and intellectual property disputes.
As a former in-house counsel for a Fortune 500company in the, Todd is no stranger to representing major clients and brands in high-stakes litigation. His commercial litigation prowess extends across the country, as he has prevailed in jury trials across many federal and state courts. From defending nationwide retailers in large class action lawsuits to defeating challenges to one of the largest real estate developments in Northwest Arkansas, Todd provides counsel and expertise that enables clients to capitalize on opportunities and secure meaningful growth.
Whether his client is a large corporation, regional bank, restaurant franchiser, industrial manufacturer, real estate developer, global food supplier, or small business owner, clients of all sizes benefit from Todd’s experience and commitment to their needs, which has been a defining characteristic throughout his career. In 2008, Todd was recognized on the “Forty Under 40” list published by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2013 for Banking and Finance Law and Commercial Litigation, and in 2023, he was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Banking and Finance Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas by Best Lawyers®.
Todd earned his law degree with high honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1996. He also completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas. Todd is active with the Washington County Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the W.P. Putnam American Inns of Courts.
When not practicing law, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, and occasionally exploring national parks throughout the United States.
