We consult with large car rental and insurance companies relative to risk management and the structuring of self-insurance and public insurance programs and have drafted industry-specific insurance policies and policy provisions. The firm also possesses in-depth knowledge regarding the unique liability and coverage issues facing rental companies and their insurers, both on a nationwide basis and within each state.
Resolving coverage disputes, including class action matters
Our attorneys have wide-ranging experience in the negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation of coverage disputes, from the perspectives of both the insurer and the policyholder. In addition, the firm has built a significant practice of advising and representing numerous corporate policyholders in complex and multilayered directors and officers liability and fiduciary liability coverage issues related to securities class actions and to shareholders’ derivative litigation. The firm’s attorneys served as coverage counsel concerning the directors and officers and ERISA fiduciary coverage issues in connection with the largest securities and ERISA class actions in the history of Tulsa.
