Kathryn Burnett is a health care attorney whose practice is focused primarily in the areas of health care compliance, provider reimbursement, and physician employment. She represents a wide range of clients in the health care industry, including hospital systems, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, home health and hospice providers, pharmacies, and individual practitioners in the medical and dental fields. Ms. Burnett works with clients to create individualized compliance programs and policies, and advises clients on issues of Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, and False Claims Act compliance. She also counsels clients on issues of Medicare and Medicaid compliance and reimbursement, including facility surveys and licensure, Medicare and Medicaid audits, and OIG investigations and self-disclosures, and helps clients investigate and resolve compliance violations.
