Kathryn Burnett is a health care attorney whose practice is focused primarily in the areas of health care compliance, provider reimbursement, and physician employment. Ms. Burnett is certified in health care compliance and represents a wide range of health care providers and suppliers, including medical and dental practitioners, health care facilities and systems, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, and Medicare Advantage Plan Sponsors. Ms. Burnett works with clients to create individualized compliance programs and policies, advises clients on the compliance requirements of the Stark Physician Self-Referral Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and the False Claims Act, and performs Compliance Program Effectiveness audits for Medicare Advantage Plan Sponsors. Ms. Burnett also assists clients with matters affecting Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, including provider enrollment, facility surveys and licensure, Medicare and Medicaid audits, and OIG investigations and self-disclosures.
