Heidi Nichols has extensive experience in complex litigation and energy and commercial transactions. Heidi represents companies, including Fortune 500 companies, and individuals in the oil and gas, power transmission, transportation, healthcare, and insurance industries. She has successfully prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar actions in federal and state courts. Heidi’s successes include recovering monies owed under a variety of contracts and defending allegations of contamination, royalty underpayment, and lease forfeiture.

Heidi has been selected as a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers beginning in 2008. She was also recognized in 2021 by Best Lawyers as one of the Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation as well as Mass Tort / Class Actions - Defense.  A dual honor reflecting a ranking in the top 5 percent of private practice attorneys nationwide by her peers.

Heidi was recently appointed to a leadership position in the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association. She also enjoys her work on the community outreach committees of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Federal Bar Association.  

Heidi graduated cum laude from Ithaca College in New York in 1998. She earned her juris doctor degree from Saint Louis University in 2002. In 1998 Heidi was named the NCAA Female Athlete of the Year for New York. Additionally, she named NCAA All-American and Academic All-American for both Volleyball and Track and Field throughout her collegiate career.
