Conner & Winters opened its Santa Fe, New Mexico office in the Spring of 2003. In 2002 Conner & Winters represented a Santa Fe based business in connection with a significant securities transaction and one of the Firm’s attorneys relocated to Santa Fe in connection with that representation. Subsequently, the Firm identified numerous existing clients and acquaintances with Santa Fe and New Mexico locations or ties, and concluded that it could better provide those clients and acquaintances with legal representation by establishing a New Mexico presence.
The Santa Fe office provides primarily representation in the areas of tax, corporate and securities matters. While the Conner & Winters New Mexico office is business transaction oriented, it is intended to facilitate service of New Mexico based clients by attorneys from all Conner & Winters’ locations. The expertise of the Firm’s attorneys in numerous practice areas and the staff support provided by all Conner & Winters’ offices will enable the New Mexico office to provide a full range of service to its New Mexico clients.
