Paul Braden has practiced employee benefit and ERISA law for over 30 years representing management of large and small companies, including professional groups.  His practice encompasses advising management concerning pension and profit sharing, 401(k) and ESOP plans as well as health and welfare, cafeteria, flexible benefit and nonqualified deferred compensation plans.

Mr. Braden has extensive experience drafting entire plans and plan amendments, preparing and submitting plans for determination and negotiating with IRS personnel to secure favorable determinations.  In 1987, he drafted one of the first cash balance plans in Oklahoma and obtained a favorable determination for a major banking client.  He has successfully concluded the submission and negotiation process for the cash balance plans of numerous clients securing very favorable results.

Mr. Braden's experience includes negotiating and drafting of employee benefit provisions in stock and asset sales and acquisition agreements of public companies and assisting clients in the transitioning of plans and programs after closing.  Clients represented by Mr. Braden include companies in the oil and gas and pipeline industries, chemical and agriculture industries, banking and many other areas of commerce.
