Joshua Wisley’s practice focuses in the areas of debtor-creditor relations, banking and finance, personal injury defense, bankruptcy, and general, commercial and appellate litigation.  Mr. Wisley has represented clients from a wide variety of industries, including agriculture, banking, car rental, construction, energy, government, insurance, manufacturing, mortgage, and tobacco.  He handles each matter with the same vigorous, yet practical, approach, regardless of whether the client is an individual, small business, or international corporation.  His expertise includes defense and prosecution of complex commercial contract and business tort claims, defense and prosecution of personal injury claims (automobile, tractor-trailer, and premises liability), commercial collections and foreclosures, defense of consumer and commercial lender liability claims (Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, torts, etc.), adversary proceedings, workouts, fraudulent transfers, veil-piercing claims, enforcement of foreign judgments, documentation of commercial financing transactions, and federal and state appeals.
