R. Richard Love, IIIPartnerMr. Love believes that effective dispute resolution for any client requires the ability to advocate a client’s position fully through trial. For over nineteen years, he has focused his law practice in litigation which frequently involved actual courtroom experience before judges and juries. Mr. Love began his practice with Conner & Winters in 1991 representing clients in commercial disputes, securities arbitrations, and securities litigation. In 1999, Mr. Love joined the United States Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma where he prosecuted a wide variety of economic and violent crimes and served as the offices’ Health Care Fraud Coordinator. Mr. Love gained extensive experience and insight into every facet of criminal prosecutions from grand jury investigations, to jury trials, to appeals before the United States Courts of Appeals in the Tenth and Fifth Circuits. Mr. Love received a commendation from the United States Assistant Attorney General for his superior performance in the successful prosecution of two related companies that violated federal law by trading with an embargoed country that sponsored terrorism. Mr. Love returned to practice at Conner & Winters in 2002, and he expanded his practice to include the representation of clients under formal and informal investigation by law enforcement or a grand jury. He also represents a variety of clients in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the region. His experience includes the representation of banking institutions, motor carriers, and employers in labor and employment matters. Mr. Love has been included in the Super Lawyers publication in the categories of General Litigation as well as Employment & Labor. |
